Weil Advises Providence Equity Partners on the Sale of Tes Global
Weil is advising Providence Equity Partners and existing shareholders on the sale of the education technology services provider Tes Global to Onex Partners. The management team of Tes will also invest alongside Onex.
London-headquartered Tes is an international provider of software solutions for the education sector hosting more than 13 million teachers on its online platform and serving more than 17,000 schools in 117 countries.
The Weil team is being led in London by Private Equity partner James Harvey, supported by associates Kirstin Fyffe, Tiffany Shum and Douglas Collins. Tax advice is being provided by partner Oliver Walker. IP/IT advice is being provided by Barry Fishley, with associate Hannah Rumble.
The transaction is subject to usual regulatory approvals and clearances.
