Weil advised Gores Holdings VI, Inc., a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by an affiliate of The Gores Group, LLC, in its $2.9 billion business combination with Matterport, Inc., the spatial data company leading the digital transformation of the built world. The transaction closed on July 22, 2021.
