Weil Advises Founder of Lexington Partners in Lexington’s $1.75B Sale to Franklin Templeton
Weil is advising Brent R. Nicklas, as founder, non-executive chairman and majority shareholder of Lexington Partners L.P., a leading global manager of secondary private equity and co-investment funds, in Lexington’s $1.75 billion sale to Franklin Templeton Investments, a global investment management organization. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions.
The Weil team advising Brent R. Nicklas is led by Private Equity partner Harvey Eisenberg. The team also includes Private Funds partner Jonathon Soler and Tax partners Robert Frastai and Hillel Jacobson.
