Weil Advises Advent International and Distribution International Inc. in Distribution’s $1B Sale to TopBuild Corp.
Weil is advising Advent International and Distribution International Inc. (DI), a value-added distributor of insulation-related specialty fabricated products, HVAC products and safety supplies in North America, in DI’s $1 billion sale to TopBuild Corp., a leading installer and distributor of insulation and building material products to the U.S. construction industry. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.
The Weil team advising Advent International and DI is led by Private Equity partner Ramona Nee and includes Private Equity associates Emily Willey, Molly MacDougall and Eric Emerson. The team also includes Tax partner Jonathan Macke; Tax associate Madeline Joerg (Admitted in New York and North Carolina Only); and Antitrust counsel Alexis Brown-Reilly.
