“We are excited to welcome Joe to the Firm,” said Weil Executive Partner Barry Wolf. “He is one of the most well-known tax lawyers in the country, advising on corporate M&A, spinoffs and other complex transactions. His experience leading a global team of tax practitioners bolsters Weil’s exceptional Tax practice and is a huge asset for our clients.”

“Joe is an elite tax practitioner, bringing 30 years of broad and innovative expertise,” commented Paul Wessel, Co-Chair of Weil’s Tax Department and head of its Executive Compensation and Benefits Group. “I’ve known Joe throughout his career and have practiced with him previously. His reputation in the tax bar is second to none. He is a tremendous addition to Weil and a great leader for our Tax practice.”

He has particular experience advising on corporate tax planning and transactional matters. Prior to joining KPMG LLP in 2013, he was a partner at another major law firm.

Mr. Pari commented: “I am excited to return to private practice and be a part of Weil’s outstanding global Tax practice. I look forward to working with Weil’s talented tax, corporate and restructuring lawyers around the world. It has also been my privilege to lead Washington National Tax at KPMG and I look forward to opportunities to partner with the firm in my new role.”
